noeme (that-has-been) is a series of lidless urns that memorialize all that "has been". Funerary objects are a symbol of life, death, and the afterlife, but the urns in noeme are lidless and effectively useless as an ash-holding vessel. They are a distant idea of a funerary vessel. You know they are urns by identification and association. They don't hold nor ever will hold human remains, their vague purpose similar to distant memories of those long gone.
