noeme (that-has-been) is a series of lidless urns that memorialize all that "has been". Funerary objects are a symbol of life, death, and the afterlife, but the urns in noeme are lidless and effectively useless as an ash-holding vessel. They are a distant idea of a funerary vessel. They are urns only in name. They don't hold nor ever will hold human remains, their vague purpose reminds us of distant memories of those long gone.
